How much should I charge for a project?

A very interesting question indeed for many Event Service Providers, how much money should you request for a project? This question can be debated in many ways, at the end of the day it all comes down to a few basic things:

1) Be in the same lines of your competition; try to be within 15% of your competitions prices. This doesn’t necessarily mean be 15% cheaper, you can also be 15% above your competition.

2) Think about the amount of people that you will have to pay to provide this service.

3) Do you require any special products, tools, and other necessities to provide this service?

4) How many hours would you require for the preparation and execution of this service?

So please keep these 4 basic items in mind and you should be ok with estimating a ballpark figure of how much money should be charging for the type of service you are providing. Be realistic!
