If you have never given a speech or toast before it can be a little scary, especially for someone who suffers from fear of public speaking. But here are some tips and ideas on writing a wonderful speech and delivering it to your crowd.

There are lots of special occasions that you may be speaking for. Your brother or sister could be getting married and you are the best man or maid of honor. You could also be giving a toast for your son or daughter who painstakingly graduated from high school or college. Or you may even be giving a special speech to a friend who is expecting a baby. Whatever the special occasion may be, you really need to think about who your speech is being written to or about.
